Akshay Kumar – ‘Khiladi’ all the way

Khiladi Akshay Kumar always has some or the other tricks up his sleeve.

This time it is his new movie ‘Desi Boyz’. Starring Akshay, John Abraham, Chitrangada Singh and Deepika Padukone, this movie looks to be a true blue entertainer all the way.

No matter what he does, Akshay manages to evoke public interest. He is always doing Prabhu Deva’s next venture titled ‘Rowdy Rathore’. According to him, the movie is a contemporary masala movie and Akshay is very excited.

Apart from all this, Akshay Kumar recently visited the Khalsa School which is in Malton, Canada. He went there for a ribbon cutting ceremony and then amazed everyone when he dedicated a computer lab equipped with state-of-the-art facilities.

Akshay is a Canadian citizen and the school is said to be in the neighborhood. “Children are our future; we must invest in them to ensure that their foundations are strong” said the star who is a Padma Shri recipient.

In the past, Akshay has donated lakhs and lakhs of money on charitable organizations, trusts and workshops which work on differently abled children and cater to special needs.

Hema Malini said that this is not true that she is re-launching Esha as she has already acted in 25 films.“ After a break, Esha is once again doing a film.

It was very nice experience to work with them in a film which has a very powerful story. I have also directed the movie,” She informs.

Rajinikanth offers prayer at Balaji temple

Tirupati: Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, who is on a thanks giving visit after recovering from ailment recently, offered prayers at the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala yesterday.

Rajinikanth, an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara, was accompanied by his wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya and sons-in-law Danush and Aswin besides Telugu film star Mohanbabu, temple sources said.


They spent about 30 minutes inside the temple, the sources told reporters.

Family sources said the 61-year-old actor undertook the visit to pay his thanks to the lord for his speedy recovery from the ailments he suffered in May.

Rajinikanth had last visited the shrine after the wedding of his daughter Soundarya with Ashwin on September 9 last year.

The actor, who took ill during the shoot of the film Rana in April, underwent treatment at a hospital in Singapore for reported kidney problem.

Shri Devi is coming back again with Big B shoots Sridevi for Gauri Shinde's film English Vinglish

Sridevi, who ruled the silver screen in the 80s and early 90s, will be making her big screen comeback with English Vinglish.

The movie is being produced by Balki and directed by his wife, Gauri Shinde. Sridevi will be seen playing the role of a housewife, who in order to please her husband and family, enrolls for an English speaking course.
