Aamir ‘Perfectionist’ Khan - All Set to Rock The Small Screen

After 3 Idiots, Mr. Perfectionist aka Aamir Khan is all set to rock the small screen after years of setting the silver screen on fire with his movies.

The actor says that he is ignorant about the way of television. However, this could be a benefit as he likes to work his way out rather than following the rules and patterns.


Aamir Khan assured that like his movies, the show too will be different from what is being shown on the television nowadays.

According to the grapevine, the show is about the real stories of people which will be depicted on the screen.

Aamir Khan feels that announcement about the show without a prior date of commencement should not be seen as a marketing strategy or a gimmick to grab attention.


In fact, it is done to stop a lot of rumors which were untrue and baseless. He fuels it is a new line of work altogether and every day is a learning experience.

Aamir is an actor whose movies are high in terms of content and creativity.

Therefore, the expectation from the show jumps manifold in this case. In the recent past, actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Priety Zinta too have made a foray into the television industry.

Rajinikanth offers prayer at Balaji temple

Tirupati: Tamil superstar Rajinikanth, who is on a thanks giving visit after recovering from ailment recently, offered prayers at the famous hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala yesterday.

Rajinikanth, an ardent devotee of Lord Venkateswara, was accompanied by his wife Latha, daughters Aishwarya and Soundarya and sons-in-law Danush and Aswin besides Telugu film star Mohanbabu, temple sources said.


They spent about 30 minutes inside the temple, the sources told reporters.

Family sources said the 61-year-old actor undertook the visit to pay his thanks to the lord for his speedy recovery from the ailments he suffered in May.

Rajinikanth had last visited the shrine after the wedding of his daughter Soundarya with Ashwin on September 9 last year.

The actor, who took ill during the shoot of the film Rana in April, underwent treatment at a hospital in Singapore for reported kidney problem.

Sridevi, who ruled the silver screen in the 80s and early 90s, will be making her big screen comeback with English Vinglish.

The movie is being produced by Balki and directed by his wife, Gauri Shinde. Sridevi will be seen playing the role of a housewife, who in order to please her husband and family, enrolls for an English speaking course.
